Our kitchen ceiling had water coming in since last year. We had a roof guy come out and he said that our roof looked good. We just needed to replace the wood where the gutters were attached to since there was rotting. Okay, done.. -NOPE!
With the snow we got a few weeks ago we had water coming in to the point my kitchen ceiling was starting to cave in. I called Genesis roofing and CJ came the same day to evaluate the house and 3 days later I had a new roof! He did tell me that my top shingles looked good but had 2 layers of it! I never knew that people place shingles over old shingles!
The guys (8 total) came out at 7am sharp and worked very hard! The cleaning was immaculate. No nails or debris left. I would HIGHLY recommend to my friends and family. They serviced my house in Union County but said they offer services all over including Hudson County. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
The job was done very quickly, in 1.5 days, and there were no issues throughout the whole process. Genesis had a variety of different roof materials, as well as colors for each, so if you were partial to one, you could choose that, but Chike showed us the difference between them and gave us the highest quality one (Owen's Corning). The warranty and service they offer is great. Even their cleanup after the work was done was exemplary. They bring their own dumpsters for all the old wood and other trash.
All in all, Genesis Roofing did a wonderful job, and I would highly recommend them.
